This edition was created to celebrate the anniversary of this city located in the heart of Badajoz, the story goes back to the year 1283 when the Moors (Moros) came to the peninsula for the first time. In 1283 Alfonso X gave the town, which since the conquest of Fernando III belonged to Seville, to the Knights Templar. Later it passed to the order of Santiago. During the wars with Portugal, it suffered serious damage that was reproduced in the War of Independence.
